whats the largest breed of cat?

i saw this special on cats and there was one breed that i do not remember the name..
they said its the most expensive , rarest , and largest breed of house cat.. i remember them saying its closest decendents are from africa and thats its half wild cat and half house cat..and im annyoed that i cat remember the name.. please help
 
Well I know the mainecoon is a large breed, I had one named Fred, there is one other called the Norwedian Forest cat.
