I know that the warranty lasts for six months, I'm still under the warranty but what are the limits of the warranty. Is it simply the malfunctions on the phone or does it go to physical damage such as a broken screen? Is it the same as regular insurance coverage that they have or are there strict limitations that follow the warranty? For instance the phone they sent me, the keyboard didn't work properly but now I accidently cracked the screen. They said they'd cover me for the keyboard but I never asked them about the screen..

the warranty just covers technical stuff that does not work. in order to get it insured in case of accidents, water damage, if it gets lost or stolen you have to pay for that kind of insurance when purchasing the phone

Asurion and Warranty are 2 different entities. Asurion is the insurance company if you purchased insurance on your device and that is who you would have to file a claim with for physical damage to the device because the manufacturer warranty does not cover physical damage. If you did not have insurance then you are on your own about getting a new phone
