whats the pansat 2500a problem?

He is pirating TV and the providers shut down the method being used to steal their programming. He needs to find something else to do the the FTA receiver which is not pirating, or get a proper receiver and subscription for the TV service he wants and stop stealing it.

my friend has a pansat 2500a and it doesn't work. he said it just needs a update but where can he find what he needs? what does he need to do it? where can he find the files that he needs?
