What's the point of Shippuden filler?

Well, it's a widely known fact that Naruto had lots of filler, and as such, the manga is way ahead of the anime. Yet, in Shippuden, we've already had like 2 filler arcs! Like what the hell?! We're not in the filler now, but still, if I see one episode of filler past this point I'm gonna kill somebody... Like seriously, WHY do they still make filler?! After the first Naruto they had NO reason to from what I see, why were those 50-ish episodes of Shippuden filler necessary?!

Kishimoto is trying to finish up Naruto as quickly as he can by a rumor I heard. So if their are any fillers in the current episodes now to the current last manga chapter. It wont make any sense at all because it is kinda one story. But then again when Naruto goes off and trains with, not gonna say, I can imagine a small, small filler maybe.

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss youre right.I Absoulety agree with you. I hate fillers .So i can find someone who fill same about fillers its ok add fillers where added to Hunter X Hunter no highly recommend it because there was no story or plot to for more than a year.Its totally another thing for
a onging manga.

As far as I know, they make filler for the anime because they don't -want- the anime to catch up to the manga. I'm pretty sure I saw Kishimoto say somewhere that he wanted some filler in the anime so that the manga could get properly ahead of it. Maybe something to do with sales? I'm not sure, but filler sure is annoying.
