What's the price of a Maserati MC12?

Does anyone know what's the price of the Maserati MC12? I know there's only 50 made and it's probably snapped up by the rich years back already. But there's one new unit lying around in this showroom in the city for a few years already in Malaysia. I've wondered why a much-sought after car is still doing here in the showroon without an owner. I mean like there's 50 ever made!

The car HAS an owner, and it's not just 'lying around'. It's most likely that the person who owns the showroom is a car collector and is just displaying his very rare and expensive Maserati to attract customers to his showroom. The people who buy this kind of automobile do not drive them on the street. Most very rare cars are purchased as investments or even works of art, and are put away to be sold for a profit at some future date.

The Maserati MC12 is a two-seater sports car produced by Italian car maker Maserati to allow a racing variant to compete in the FIA GT Championship. The car entered production in 2004 with 30 cars produced (five of which were not for sale). A further 25 were produced in 2005 making a total of 50 cars available for customers, each of which were pre-sold for €600 000 or $818,099.6364
