What's the rockingest gadget you've ever heard of?

best gadget ive ever had was a archos 605 wifi media player, its awesome movies and music on the move and i can even go on the internet and check my email using a hotspot in town, oh and the best bit it was free from a website

Is there anything new out that blew your mind? Anything you heard about and said "finally!"? Bonus points if it's cheap, because invention+simplicity=a better world.

The coolest I've seen:
Super-strong super-tiny flashlights (bright as a car's headlight)
A robot that you put your iphone into and then control using wi-fi (it senses the colors on the iphone's screens and moves accordingly)
