Ok here's what I remember from the anime from when I watched it long ago. It involved some type of new police in the future, and this film was split into 3 films; each film - I think - centred around these 3 different type of law enforcement officers. Each film showed how each officer solved problems and their way of working. In the one I watched, there was a storyline involving a large-tall builiding which stayed upright due to some new technology. But then this technology gets compromised by some computer threat, and one of the officers has to find out what the source of the problem is, otherwise the building will collapse. It is later found out, that this threat has evolved from some human, being taken by the A.I. and the cop finds out that this human has been dead for some time, but has been kept alive by the A.I. I remember images of this skeletal/barely human form being powerful in the last act, where it attacks the officer repeatedly with various computer wires. But in the end, the officer wins.
