It's Hollywood running out of ideas. Which is a good reason why there's so many remakes of good movies, or putting books into movie form. It's also something that can always be scary, and good for a thrill. I personally would rather have good horror movies like that, rather than this 'horror' crap like the saw series, that's nothing more than 'lets see how much blood we can get out of a person.' That's not horror, that's just stupid.
