Hmm states coming together to form one nation. Each state not strong enough to stand on its own but together they stand tall. born from oppression to fight for freedom. What a great dream and a spectacular vision.
lol Wait a random Thread on a martial arts forum doesn't have much to do with that. Hmm Then why are you two arguing. Doesn't seem like the right place.lol Pick your battles better.

It's not an argument, I just asked him to provide factual sources for his information such as a Government report based on the facts of the situation or a report from a Legal association or Think Tank using the facts and the law as a basis for their claims or a scientific type report using nothing but 100% factual evidence.

Well his threads don't tend to spark intelligent discussion do they

Seems he has a lot of strong opinions (possibly parroted and/or badly researched ones) and can't handle disagreement.

Anyway

How can we get the government report when the government dosent want it released made clear on msnbc. The supreme court didint even wanna force the government to release it they just let it go even though they could IF THEY WANTED TOO. That right there shows how the gov is based againts their own people not even the suprme court is doing its job double standard right there.

XT18,
On the whole I agree with you. There are a lot of things really wrong with the way America has been governed as of late. There are a lot of things that I don't agree with about the way government is handled anyhow... but you really should take some time to understand where and how to do proper research into events before you just jump in and start yelling the sky is falling.

FoxNews and MSNBC are not really the stalwarts of good solid research. They are basically news lite for the masses and the love concern of Dustin Jolley.

It really helps to understand in depth the political system in America before going into critiques of it. At least people will take you seriously. Otherwise as you've seen in your recent threads... it just becomes Stuka's over Disneyland*. And that ain't never gonna work out in your favor.

And for the love of God and country.... use your bloody spell check. It only takes a second... MAP's forum software tells you which words are misspelled by underlining them in red when you type. If you have lots of them open up another tab in your browser and use www.dictionary.com to find the right spelling... it takes seconds to do. When about half of the words you have in a paragraph are wrongly spelled how do you expect anyone to take you seriously?

Come on bro... work with us here. You'll find if you do there are a lot of people on MAP willing to actually discuss things with you and not just flame you.

Give it some thought.

* +1 for anyone who gets the punk rock reference in this thread.

XT18 spends about 5 minutes 'researching' into a topic then he finds as many silly youtube videos/random websites he can to support whatever silly argument he has decided to parrot. Any argument proven wrong or any reasonable criticism of the points he makes is just completely ignored as he leaps to further and further absurd points.

Remember this is the same XT18 who forgot that people in the UK speak English and I can't really can't stress that point enough... as I've said before debating with an unsharpened pencil would probably be more productive than debating with XT18.

I think you'll be waiting a long time on that admission.

Personally I think if XT18 is 19 like his profile states the more pressing issue is how badly taught spelling seems to be in Canada and why he doesn't seem to have gained ANY critical thinking skills.

Does anyone else see the irony of proving opinions by using youtube videos of the media while the other (provided) youtube videos say that the media is lying and biased?

Thats like saying "Jason is a liar, go ask him youself."

ya ya ya if you dont like it dont replay to me. Im so dumb according to you why do you keep waisting your time replying to my stuff? is it too hard for ckava to see how the gov runs everything even againts the law which is illegal. You just dont seem to see it maybe you will in the future.

and for slip how can cnn be more true then msnbc when cnn on their website doesnt even have ron paul but the others ones it does. look your self
http://www.cnn.com/POLITICS/
The government is obvisly working againts him proven on video through the actions on the videos. There is a video of fox news telling its camera people not to record ron paul supporters which i origanlly posted also. Not only that but the supreme court dosent even want to stand up to the president...The gov has the info needed but the supreme court dont even want it....They want to build a bridge between mexico, usa, and canada which will costs over billions of dollars and arent they like 8 trillion dollars in debt? Isint it true that usa dosent even have the gold to back up its money since the federal reserv keeps printing more its less valuable.

I'm american as well.

Of course our government is screwed.
Show me a government on this planet that isn't!
The only thing more dangerous than a politician is someone who
WANTS to be a politician.
All governments aren't based on what the people want, it's based on what they want you to want.
Also known as the "good ole boys" system.
Why do you think Democrats and Republicans are the only 2 parties in the US system for over 100 years?
They're all in bed together.
There are ONLY 2 requirements to become president; be over the age of 35 and be naturally born there.THAT'S IT.
It has been clearly proven that to become president, you must be able to spend a MINIMUM of 200 million dollars on campaigns(for mudslinging and pay offs,of course) and you MUST be Dem or Rep...or you don't get in!
"land of Dreams",eh? Dream on sucker.

People fail to realise we have 2,JUST 2, definates in our lives....
Stay your skin color and die.
That is it.
EVERYTHING we all do between birth and death is a choice.
When that A-hole cop says "I HAVE to give you a ticket" is full of crap. It's his CHOICE to do so.
As amercians,we CHOOSE to let these morons run our country because we actually believe "the pen is mightier than the sword".
Let's say; the government has half a million people in it.
They run everything.
There are 300 HUNDRED million+ in the country as citizens.
Does the name CUSTER mean anything to ya there sparky?!?
Nope. Not a thing.
And it never will.

In all my life,no matter who has been in office,no matter what scandal is going on in the gov't,my life has NEVER changed one little bit because of it.
Americans(and we ALL come from different countires somewhere along the line) are great people.
The gov't has always been crap.
It's just a shame that we are judged by the rest of the world on the actions of a few idiots.

*putting the soap box to the side for now.....

Damien

And X, as much as I've wanted to go V for Vendetta on the govt for passing the Patriot Act and other disasters, as a citizen... I dont have many problems.

Are we going in a crappy direction? Maybe. But Ive led a normal FREE life thus far. I'd like a few things changed, but I dont think we are near any kind of melt down... or at least anything that you being in another country would have to worry about.

I'm only 'waisting' my time in an attempt to warn people of the complete futility of having a productive discussion with you, I think you'll find I've pretty much given up replying to any of the utter nonsense you spout.

Oh and going by the post above, every other post you've written and the incredibly amount of evidence you have supplied over your time here of being almost completely ignorant about almost every topic you discuss- don't you think your time might be better spent A) learning proper graofftopicr or how to spell properly, B) actually reading a reputable book about ANY topic your interested in or C) memorising the fact that people in England speak English.

I've never been a fan of government decisions myself, but I was wondering the other morning while reading a newspaper, how many people would soon zip up their yap if they were to spend a day in the shoes of those they're critisizing.

Yes governments are 'bad', they steal our money and waste it, they even conspire against us and cover up all evidence.
But it's the easiest thing to sit back and spout out about how "this should be changed", "that's wrong", "what an idiot made that decision", especially when you have very little idea what you're talking about having got all your information from the media.

I'm not an expert on the subject, but I should imagine just like many other situations, even here on MAP with it's mods; making a decision is a very lengthly and extremely difficult process. And once you've made the best possible decision, you're hit with the backlash, because it's impossible to please everyone.

Just to repeat what has already been said, Xwhateveryournameis, get a clue before raving about it.

Can YOU answer that question?
"who's the government"?!
Who decides we should go to war?!
ANY war.
I don't. Do you?
Who decides we should have taxes?
I don't. Do you?!
Who decides the fat politicians should raise thier own pay for doing nothing while people are straving and dying in the streets?
What was the purpose of the 2nd ammendment?
"to take up arms against and oppressive gov't(or a gov't that gets out of hand).
Just exactly who were they talking about?
Don't start harping on "but out gov't isn't oppressive" because it isn't....it sure as hell IS out of hand at the moment.
Someone told me once( who works gov't intel); "people are upset because Bush took control as president as a president should".
Who the hell said he the right to do that?!
That is NOT his job. His job is to do what he is told "by the people".

So what would YOU do?

And to be even more honest; because we live in a "free society "
I can't give my honest opinion on here because it would cause me to get banned.

So I voice what I can and take whatever is thrown at me.
But I will say this; if D.C burned to the ground; I couldn't care less.
