whats wrong with my blackberry pearl?

i just exchanged it with at the AT&T support center and the one they gave me was working fine but now its messed up. it has an image on the screen of a battery with a red slash through it. whats wrong and how can i fix it?
 
it means that your phone is not reading your battery, or your battery is no good(invalid). Try taking the battery out for about 30 sec, then put it back in and try charging it. Also BTW. Wesley is wrong! and if someone left AT&T for sprint they weren't to bright either
 
My co-worker had 8 blackberry pearls from atnt. There is a software gliche that the cant seem to fix so she left them and came to sprint. If you had 8 pearls in 6 months you would leave them to.I would get a new model if i was you.
