I tried to drive somewhere today and after about a mile or so, I thought I heard a small pop and then my truck died. When I started it back up, I smelled smoke. I tried to turn off because I didn't know what was wrong and the steering wheel was close to impossible to turn. I made it back home, but took me forever because I couldn't steer. I feel like it has to be something much worse than lack of steering fluid.
