What's your favorite family outing?

Mine is a picnic on a nice cool and breezy day near the ocean.

going camping and fishing with my hubby and kids.

When I was a kid my family went camping every year, it was wonderful, all the water, sun and sand we could handle.

But honestly my favorite memory was when my dad took me to see Mary Poppins (LOL I'm old huh? ) alone, just me and him

packing up a barbeque and going to the river for the day,
the kids swim and catch fish, and we lie in the sun and tan, and chat, and laugh with the kids.
