Whats your opinion of Iraq?

I was just wondering about peoples opinon about Iraq. Well to me I think its just a waste of money because the government spends our tax money to forgin countries to get materials for the war and in the end we pay more, like are national debt is almost a trillion. Also its a waste of lives because many people are dieing because of this war. I think its just a military occupation and we fought in the middle east for over a decade with no end and our president also is sending troops to afganistan which is spreading the war.
 
You're looking at this backwards. Afghanistan has absolutely nothing to do with the war against Iraq. Yes, the war against Iraq is a waste of time, money, material resources, and lives.

The war in Afghanistan, however, is about dealing with problems we created for ourselves 20+ years ago. We gave weapons, logistics, money, and built bases for, Al Qaeda to fight the Soviets.

Actually, we gave weapons, logistics, and money to Saddam Hussein to fight the Iranians 20+ years ago as well. So I guess some things never change.

As for my opinion about Iraq, I think that we took out Hussein because he wouldn't do what we wanted anymore, and he was becoming too big a player in an industry (oil) that we wanted to maintain control of.
 
It is a fight because a certain group of people (politicians, and some but not all by any means brain-dense rich people) who sold their souls are greedy and believe they can rule the world.
