The National Rifle Association has lobbied against laws in several states that make it a felony to discharge a firearm while legally intoxicated. These laws came about largely as the result of the thousands of hunting accidents that occur every year because of intoxicated hunters who shoot at anything that moves. People, family pets and livestock have all been victims of drunk-shooting accidents.
What's your response to the NRAs claim that getting piss drunk and shooting at anything that moves is so deeply ingrained in Conservative culture that we can't even consider imposing drunk shooting laws?
