...screen goes black, computer restarts? Hi. This just started happening to me today. I have a HP Pavilion DV2500 with windows vista.

When browsing on the internet, I get this freezing problem. The screen turns yellow, then computer freezes. after about 5 seconds, computer screen goes black and the computer autonomously restarts. sometimes it wont even start, and I will have to turn it off manually several times before it starts properly again.

I have noticed that the computer is very hot in the upper left hand corner also. WTFFF vista sucks...
 
Sounds like a couple of things...:

-Virus
-Many viruses (lol)
-Power supply is failing/working to hard/not good enough
-Video error
-Video card error

Try using another browser. If your using Internet explorer, I'd suggest Mozilla Firefox.
