.... and start taking responsibility for the economy? Does this normally happen in the first term or second.... or never?

This is a school yard tactic that is used to prop yourself up by tearing your opponent down. The problem is that people who do this have a difficult time in presenting their view in a good or popular light and the only way they can get beyond it is by trying to put down others in order to raise themselves up. It would be like cutting down a tree to tell the world you are taller that a tree. It is silly, childish, and very immature. It has been a democrat trick since Carter took office. For the most part it works because most Americans lack the ability to recall anything more than about 6 months old. I blame the media and public education. Lets be real honest the most teachers in this country are reduced to babysitters. They don't get paid nearly enough, they have to deal with parents that are for the most part just as bad as their children, and then to top it all off they have no authority what so ever to discipline these kids when they do act up. You don't really expect the parents to raise their children do you?

Obama is going to use every excuse he can for as long as he can, and his followers are not the brightest bulbs in the lamp and will just accept what ever he says as gospel.

As responsible American, everything Obama is doing is hurting me.

Probably never. Or not unless they are successful in what they do.

I think by 1988 Reagan was fairly pleased with with where the country was compared to its condition in 1980.

In the case of the clintons, they dissed Reagan well into their 2nd term and got away with their falsehoods, but the chairman, now, is more underhanded and doesn't mention names but says, oh, for years, this and that. Imagine being more insidious than the clintons.

They don't. Has Bush1.0 admitted any mistakes? Has Clinton? Has Bush2.0? Hell, Carter was the worst ever elected and he's never fessed up to being a moron. They admit nothing... unless it's something good.
