I have a dsl broadband connection.i use p2p or torrent softwares like ares,limewire,bitcomet,utorrent etc.My internet get disconnected after 10 or 15 mins or sometimes it may last upto 2 hrs.then i hav to restart the computer or modem to access it again.I hope a perfect solution for this problem
 
I think it's your LAN card. On very big traffic it's overloaded and it freezes. Try to disable/enable the network, not restarting the computer and it should work also. I suggest you buy a new network card.

Got the same problem on a friend, it was solved with the new network card.
