when i try to watch movies on the internet using divx i get severe AV lag do

you think its my video card? im using windows vista basic and when i had windows xp it said my video card was a 32mb matrox millenium g400 now on windows vista it just says standard vga graphics adapter 800x600 resolution and i have to move a bar at the bottom of a website to view the whole site or change the zoom level do you think divx is lagging because of my video card

my pc specs
amd athlon 1.24 ghz
1 gb ram
standard vga graphics adapter
vista basic
my motherboard can only use an agp video card so do i need to buy an agp card
last time i bought an agp card i couldnt get it to work but i didnt have the software cd with it either

Its not just your video card... its your whole computer. CPU, amount of RAM, and video card is ancient.

It shouldn't even be running Vista, because its far too underpowered. Go back to XP for the moment, save your dosh and get a new PC.
