When I was in the Air Force, PDA was aloud when not in uniform on base.?

Has it changed. Someone is telling me in the military it's only allowed off base now; I don't know if I believe that.
 
In uniform is un uniform regardless of where you are located.

EDIT: I think I misunderstood your question. Are you asking if PDA is prohibited on base?
 
If the active duty member is in uniform, then they are to maintain military bearing at all times, which means no PDA. A little peck on the cheek, a quick hug.. no one is going to make a big deal of it. Anything more than that... no.

And it doesn't matter... off base or on, if they are in uniform the ruling stands.
 
Well probably the military doesn't want LOUD PDA's to the general American Public.

Complaining is as America as Apple pie. so a LOUD PDA would just cause headaches and complaints.

Now in the AIR Force, those Jet Engine Planes sure are EFFIN LOUD, so a LOUD PDA makes perfect sense.
