word programs of fuel efficiency? Before another gas price surge breaks them and us Tax payers or after the free bailout moneys run out in say 8 years or so?
oh sweet dreams of the v-10 fords!!!
One would think CEO,s would see it coming!!!! and plan !!!
So now tax payers hard earned moneys go to produce gas guzzling piece of crap vehicles?
Once Obama gives Israel those b-52,s and Bunkerbusters they will attack iran and overnight gas is 10.00 gallon and whats left of detriot is not even USABLE cause of FRICKEN v-8 and gas guzling POS mentalitys!!!

Detroit is going bankrupt and Toyota will be making the V-8 vehicles that Americans will buy. Your trash, if ever made, will sit on the show room floor.

Never, some of us need powerful V 8s and diesels to do work. And I would just as so it be an american made vehicle if you don't mind.

When the consumer stops buying V8's.

I would rather have a big gas guzzler, then a wind-up golf cart, that is unsafe.

1 iam not giving up the v8 truck it is the most practical and profitable type of vehicle i have ever had.
2 detroit has been knocked around before they have proven themselves and survived everytime and the american car companies will make a big comeback.

I agree. I believe that most, not all, V-8 vehicles are "unnecessary". I believe that Americans should buy 4 and 6 cylinder engines - on their own accord because it would be a good thing to do for many reasons.

Mercedes, Audi, BMW, VW, Toyota, and Nissan and Hyundai all produce V-8's, get with the program.

Oil dropped to $34.93 a barrel today, the world economy is falling apart and the price of oil will not be going back up to $144.00 any time soon. Detroit can make $40,000 green cars, but how many people do you know will pay that kind of money for a little tin can and can only push 60 MPH at best. The big three are on their way out, but one hybrid company many survive. Say hello to GMC/Ford or Ford/Chrysler, or GMC/Chrysler, or something like that.
