When is it most ideal to get a fitness appraisal?

Hi Everyone!

I was wondering when you think is the most ideal time for me to get a fitness appraisal? I am planning to start a fitness routine in September and was wondering if I should get my fitness appraised in the beginning/ a couple of weeks in or the middle?
Also, can someone explain the following terms for me:

* Body composition
* Aerobic capacity
* Anaerobic capacity



This is what my gym offers for the appraisal (copy and pasted):

Benefits of an appraisal include:

* Identify strengths and weaknesses
* Establish positive, achievable goals
* Measure training progress
* Quantify physical changes.

The 1-hour session measures:

* Body composition
* Aerobic capacity
* Anaerobic capacity
* Muscular strength and endurance
* Flexibility

A 30-minute follow-up session will allow you and your trainer to discuss the results of your appraisal and set goals for your training
