When Is The Cirque Du Freak Movie Coming Out?

I'm a a really big fan of the cirque du freak books by Darren Shan, but i'm not shure when the moove is coming out. At first I hered it was coming out in Febuary 2009. Than my freind told me that it is coming out in Augest around the 25th or 27th. But others have told me that it is coming out on October 2009. If anyone knows the right date that would be helpfull. Also if there is any other information about the moive, lke pictures, actors etc.
