When popping popcorn, what is happening to the temp, pressure, and volume

Describe what happens to the temp, pressure, and volume of the water vapor inside the kernel during each stage. Be detailed as to what is happening to the gas molecules and why.

A.) During the heating phase

When the temperature increases because of microwaves, the pressure and volume of the water vapor increases(the gas molecules start to move faster and closer together). When enough pressure has built up, the increased volume of the water vapor pushes the kernel out (the gas molecules bumped into each other so much that the pressure increased and it pushed the kernel out).
