When trying to loose 5 pounds, should i go for the food thats less in calories, or

has better nutrition? EXAMPLE:
Breakfast-
-1 cup of Frosted Flakes (140ish calories)
OR
-2 cups of a smoothie that has 1 banana, 3 tablespoons of blueberry whey protein, and 3/4 of a cup of tropical juice.
