than another individual, we specifically mean that the organism
a) utilizes resources more efficiently than other species occupying similar niches.


b) leaves more viable offspring than others of its species.


c) lives longer than others of its species.


d) competes for resources more successfully than others of its species.


e) mates more frequently than others of its species.
 
B, that's the ultimate goal and indicator of species proliferation.

Remember, the goal in life is to produce as much viable offspring as possible that can live on to produce their own
