my bf n i were dating for a year already,but i haven't met his parents yet. i don't understand why he has to make me feel like im a secret. it hurts my feelings,coz i feel like he is not proud of me. and its awkward every time i picked him up at his house i kinda hide sometimes coz his mom might see me and its just sort of disrespectful picking him up n leave right away like a stranger.
 
i will be honest this is kinda really strange. I think the best thing you can do is talk to him about it, tell him how you are feeling. then i am sure he will introduce you to them. Good Luck!:)

tell him you want to meet his parents & it hurts your feelings that he hasn't introduced you guys yet.

if he can't introduce you to his parents after a year of dating, he may ashamed of you

.. i met my boyfriend's parents on our 3rd date....
 
If he's avoiding showing you to his parents...it means you're not wifey or girlfriend material, and he sees you as little more than a booty call.

hell, he's ASHAMED of being with you. I've never hidden a girl I liked; I always paraded her around proudly in fact.

he's ashamed of you. that's all.
 
Hunny, if he's not gunna actually introduce you to his parents then maybe you should ask why. if he tell you that it's because he's not ready then simply ask why. there has to be more than just shyness i mean come on a year and still you dont know his parents? if you really love him and he really loves you then he should. dont let him treat you like that. i wish you all the best! xoxo could you look at my question please? you dont have to
 
have you talked to him about it? tell him youd really like to meet his parents. his reaction will usually tell you all you need to know. tell him that you feel like your a big secret and you dont feel like hes proud of you. maybe he has no clue how this is affecting you and making you feel. he cant know unless you bring it to his attention. you've got to talk about things to resolve them
 
honestly I don't know. If you two are of driving age, then his parents shouldn't care if he dates by that point, for sure. So I don't know. Ask him indirectly or directly if you want to know... have you tried that..
 
you really need to talk to him! thats not right, he needs to introduce you!! but dont take it too personally because he might be embarrassed of his parents or his house and he doesnt want you to get freaked out. Just tell him how you feel :)
