When will T-Mobile My Touch 3 Slide get Android 2.2 upgrade?

I can't wait for Android 2.2 because it will allow you to run apps from SD rather than limited internal phone memory.

Also, why wasn't Tmobile clear on when it will be released and mention what devices will be getting Android 2.2?
