I'm doing a school presentation on wedding cakes from different countries. In France they have what's called Croquembouche or la piece montee. It's basically cream puffs stacked into a cone and held together with caramel glaze or spun sugar. Does anyone know where in the San Fernando Valley I can buy one? I've only seen one bakery online in Los Angeles that sells it but they charge $6 per cream puff...way too expensive to spend for about 40 students in my class.
