I looked on sites such as safecar.gov. Problem I am finding is that they do not test every car. I am in the market for a used car in the 20-30k price range and at the oldest a 2007. I have been looking at brands such as Cadillac, lexus, infiniti, lincoln, etc. I have yet to find a site that I can compare all the luxury brands.

Thanks,
Doug

Doug - good question. The U.S government does not require every vehicle to be crash test rated. The big reason is that there are only 4 or 5 places that do the testing. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) keeps tabs on all the results. Vehicles are cataloged based on the projected number of a particular model on the highway, and the weight and mass. Thus only random samples are tested.

Check here to see if the vehicles you want to check are listed -

http://www.iihs.org/ratings/default.aspx

All the best.
