Where can I go to meet classier girls?

I'm 22 years old, haven't had a girlfriend for a couple of years now. Mainly I want to meet someone who isn't just looking for a quick shag (aka outside of the party/bar scene it seems like). My friends here hold parties almost every week, most weeks I go because I know the majority of people there and it's fun to talk to them... but so far I haven't met anyone who seems worth dating.

I don't know, the whole party scene just got especially old after this last weekend, where I basically brushed off a fairly attractive girl (who had slept with 4 of my friends in the past 2 months) and then comforted a girl friend of mine for a few hours... who then drunkenly tried to kiss me, and then yelled at me for not returning her feelings before passing out.

I met most of these friends in classes or through the band program here. They're great to be around for the most part, but I haven't found anyone worth dating yet out of here. Where else can I go?

no need to go anywhere..wen its about to happen it will on its own..meanwhile keep socialising cz that way chances are more..

Ummm go to enrollment things..eg:art classes...what ever takes an interest that you would like to learn, my friend goes to cookery classes and met a girl there, and there are more females then males there.

Well obviously bars, night clubs and pubs are the last place you wanna go.

Try going to local places that inquire things you interests. Like Book stores, Comic Stores, Your favorite restaurant, and secretly scope a few out that are attractive.

If you meet women in bars and at parties you will be meeting a lot of women who drink. Many to excess. I met my wife of 23 years when I walked into the convenience store she was working at. I thought she was attractive so I struck up a conversation with her. The down side was that we hit it off so well that I drove almost 20 miles just to buy gas, soda, etc. just so I could see her. About a year later we were married and I could go back to the local C store.
I guess what I am trying to say is that you will meet the right woman when the time is right and you will know who she is.
