Where did Marge Simpson's Mom go?

Did Marge's mom die in some episode I wasn't aware of? Because I have not seen or heard about her in a long time on that series, and it just seems really wierd that that she mysteriously disappeared.
and no, I know she did not die in that episodes where selma got jubjub. That what their aunt.
 
She died a long time ago. Patty and Selma got a grandfather clock and the iguana (jubjub?) Marge got the collection of potato chips that look like celebrities.
 
She was actually in an episode that premiered in May of this year, called Moe Letter Blues.

She hasn't technically been killed off yet, but I can understand how she would be unpopular. They already got 3 characters with that raspy voice. Having a 4th one full-time is superfluous. She doesn't really add much to the series anyways.
