anonymously for...? ...research project?
I am assigning this to second and third year college students. Where can they find people willing to be interviewed? Any suggestions?

Well...that's going to be really, really tough.

In my professional opinion, you should have them focus on people they don't know personally but are relatively close to them in age.

It is a standard part of my line of work and I have great difficulty getting honest and detailed data from a large number of people. Keep in mind these are people paying me to help them with money management and investment.

In my experience, younger people (30 or younger) are far more open about everything than those even a little bit older. Those nearer my age (50's) are the least likely to discuss anything in detail with regard to money with someone young enough to be a child or grandchild. To be blunt -- please refer to my first sentence in this paragraph -- there is no such thing as "private" or "anonymous" with the younger set and everyone (should) knows it.

I would start with organizations that the students are already hooked into in one way or another: fraternities, churches, community groups, alumnae associations, etc.
