My contracted hours are constantly not being met. My contract states, "Your hours of work may vary but will not be less than 30 hours per week spread over 5 days (normally but not exclusively)

I am not sure if the part in brackets refers to the number of hours or to the "over 5 days" part or even both,in which case this would be there way round not given me my contracted hours.

Could somebody please tell me where I stand as it's not worth me working at the moment with the lacks of hours! Any help would be much appreciated.

Its not just a contract for you, its a contract for your employer. You have to work 30 hours (minimum) and your employer has to pay you 30 hours per week.

Demand 30 hours per week and the money you have been underpaid for too.
