I have owned 5 Chryslers because I like their style, regardless of the 2 transmissions I had to replace--shame of Chrysler for such poor tech design in the 90s. However I am curious about why I and others are not inspired to buy a new car or truck. Is it dependability, price, design, a new look, gas mileage? I for one can remember when the new car lines were inspiring and people couldn't wait to see them and buy them. Now I can't tell one year's model from the next. I think Ford has been boring for the last 10 years. I think Chrysler has put out interesting products but they were not dependable. GM has a few interesting models like the Sky but not much else turns my head.
I grew up in the 60s and 70s and thought cars would be cool, and interesting, and really fun by the new century, and so far I am very disappointed. I know the economy is an issue, but that aside, what would inspire you to buy a new car? What do people want that they are not getting?
