Philippines or Dubai UAE? It is actually cheaper for me to fly to Dubai and it is also cheaper to stay in a 4-5 star hotel while in Dubai. If I go to the Philippines I will have to pay a few hundred dollars more for a plane ticket. While I can get a hotel in the Philippines at a cheap cost I will not be able to get as good of a quality hotel as I could get in Dubai. Dubai is also full of friendly people from the Philippines and India. The downside of staying in Dubai for me is the day to day cost. Food costs more and well as taxi. Beer can only be purchased in a hotel and it extremely expensive at around $10 per beer. The downside of going to the Philippines is safety. I feel a lot safer in Dubai. Also the street beggars in the Philippines are annoying. So which place would you choose and why? Also if you pick the Philippines which part of the Philippines in particular?
 
if i were you i would go to the philippines much much cheaper than anywhere in the world . cheaper foods . taxi . accommodations . do not be annoyed with beggars just a penny for them and they will thank you that much . visit ilocos region or region 1 . these includes alaminos . pangasinan for their famous hundred islands . benguet province for their baguio city cool place ,its like a small paradise , ilocos sur and norte with their famous beaches , la union so greenery . nice and breathtaking views . welcome and enjoy your vacation
 
I have been to both and I find the Philippines the best country to visit with unlimited or limited finances. And the variety of places to visit is a kaleidoscope of pure joy. Wonderful places to visit in the country are in the provinces of Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, and Batangas and in particular the cities of Tagaytay, Baguio, Iligan and San Pablo. You can visit the Philippines in any season of the year and you'll still enjoy the many exotic places. And do not forget to visit Boracay and the hot nightclubs in Manila and suburbs.

Well, if you already know about the beggars in the Philippines, I say go to Dubai. The people replying here are obviously going to tell you Phils 1) because they're from Phils, the place where you posted this question. 2) Because it's cheaper. Think about it. It's cheaper for a reason, right?

My ex-gf went to Dubai, checked out their skyline including the tallest skyscraper, had a blast. In the Phils... well, I'm sure you know you can always hook up with some peasant needing money for medical school. Not to mention the re-occurring smell of urine to go with the constant scenary of wet dogs running around everywhere.
 
High end Boracay or Palawan. More conservative Iloilo or Bacolod.
It safe enough here as long as you don't go out and get stumble down drunk and hang out in the gro bars.

You could not pay me to stay anywhere in the UAE. If you think your safer there your wrong !
Plus the $10 beers and the food is horrible.

Look on www.tripadvisor.com for places to go ,places to stay from people that actually stayed there.
 
philippines is cheaper than any other countrys including filipinos who are stupid, ugly, short, undicipline, dirty, stink and corrupt.
