I wanted to ask 'meet someone' but thats abit vauge and non-specific. Serious answers please folks lol! I have taken up martial arts and sometimes yoga but no way will I ever meet a woman at either of those activities lol! Any ideas? Work is just a no go area, I work in kitchens in pubs and although there are waitresses they are all too young for me and I am not interested in someone twenty years younger than me. Anyone have any stories of how they met their partner and where to give me some ideas. Internet dating is just a minefield. I know a female friend who had a terrible time with it and my experiences were'nt much better. Thanks for your response.

I think sport is the best way to do it. Ive joined a football club and the level of competition is pretty low and we are a very social team. We are mostly about going for a hour training and then heading to the pub.
I know it doesnt sound right cos its all guys but when we're at the pub someone might have their girlfriend and she'll have 2 more friends etc. And then functions are really good too. I think its really about just meeting more people- regardless of gender and then it just sorts itself out

No idea; If there was a known good place for it, there wouldn't be so many singles around still wondering where to find a potential partner
