Where is a good, short notice, affordable vacation spot for a week?

My girlfriend and I are looking to go on vacation next week. We are looking to spend no more than $800 a person, but we would like to go somewhere nice (or interesting). We were thinking Hawaii, Miami, Cancun, Toronto, Vancouver, or somewhere along those lines.

Could anyone suggest anything for us or a place to look for such vacations?
