Where is the calendar for my yahoo newsgroup?

I am a newbie to newsgroups. I created a news group but it doesn't have a calendar. All the other newsgroups I've belonged to had a calendar. Where is mine?

if you're talking about a yahoo group, there's options not to use it at all.
management- under group settings click web tools- web tools (edit) <-- click the edut- scroll to calendar and see what setting it has- select which you want- click save changes
