introduced? Why all the hooopla now that is has passed and been signed?

kinda like putting the donkey behind their cart isnt it?
if it was considered so "ridiculous"--then why are other states looking to implement similar bills?

No, not really at all. Crazy bills like this are commonly introduced by fringe politicians. It is very uncommon for something like this to get passed. If every person had to take a stand on every crazy thing that came up in legislative sessions, they'd have no time to work.

It was pretty extreme for a bill like this to pass. Most people wouldn't have conceived that it could have passed.
