Which a better second bike the Yamaha V Star 1100 or the V Star 1300?

I'm 5'4, 212 lbs. and currently riding a V Star 650 Custom. It was great starter bike, but now I need more power. Especially since the wife has started riding with me. We ride with another couple who ride a H-D Street Glide. So a bike with more power is a must. I like Yamaha's V Star line of bikes and I'm not sure which bike to buy...the V Star 1100 or the 1300...need more power,but also need to be able to handle the bike,especially riding two up. Does anyone have any advise on the matter?
