There is an upcoming anime convention in my city, and my girlfriend and I are attending. I'm not one to cosplay, but my girlfriend is really into anime and cosplaying, and it looks entertaining, so I thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately I haven't ever watched an anime besides Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z. Is there any anime character I could pull off? Please answer give the premise that I won't be wearing glasses and I'm 6'2". Additionally, if you guys could provide multiple suggestions so I can pick an easy costume, I would appreciate it! Thank you so much.

I totally second Scar from Fullmetal Alchemist, and his "costume" is his regular clothes and probably easily attainable.
