Which are better, freelander hardtop or a convertable freelander?

Im just in the process of buying a 2004 free lander ( landrover ) do the convertable hardtops have any problems
 
Both have well known reliability problems if in UK check this by looking at WHICH reliability stats

Expect to be a regular for car repairs
 
well if you want a venture which is going to be a money pit go ahead.
the worst will be the convertible. the tilts rot and it needs to be parked where it will not get vandalised.
Add to this a car of this vintage with such a poor reliability record as it was made by Ford back then.
there are all sorts of issues with this car.
