Which brand has the best power wire?

I've spent a lot of time looking at wiring kits on amazon and the reviews always say it has a false gauge or is not 100% copper. In the past I have gotten my wire from a local hardware store but their wire has barely any flexibility which won't work as well with the install I'm doing now. For the wire from my battery to distributor block would it be ok to use welding wire? and what would be a good brand to look for to get a little nicer looking wire to run from the block to the amps?
