Which car to buy --> 2010 Mazda 3 or 2009 Toyota Corolla S?

i need some opinions and advice if possible... i am debating to buy the redesigned 2010 mazda 3 GS (2.0L), or the 2009 new corolla S (1.8L)... i would appreciate any feedback... by the way , both are within 10 dollars a month difference on insurance... and fuel ecomomy isnt too far off from one another. ANY ADVICE OR OPINIONS ..THANKS
 
You will regret the Corolla if you bought it based on how it drives. Like the Honda Civic it is one of the dullest cars to drive and only good for reliability and fuel economy. As you stated the 3 isn't far behind in the economy anyway and while it isn't as reliable as the Corolla it is a much better drive. Sportier, quicker and more features.
 
the corolla is too basic. go with somethign different take the MAZDA. easier to find in parking lots every grandma has a toyota.
