Which country is more powerful? The USA or the People's Republic of China?

POWERFUL in terms of economy, military, influence, allies.

Or differently put: If it came to a war between these 2 nations, which would win? Now, don't say USA right off the bat, because I think Russia, Iran, and India would support China. EU would support the USA, one would think. I am not so sure about Brazil...

What do you think?
