Which graphing calculator should I choose?

I've been needing a graphing calculator ever since I took pre-calc, but I skimmed by with borrowing one from the school. It was pretty crappy... Now, I need to buy my own graphing calculator, and I need something good. It needs all the essentials, and then some. Enough to get me through every possible math class you can think of (since that is what I plan to major in in college). Especially, I'd like to know the x-intercepts WITHOUT having to use trace, since trace isn't always very accurate... So, any suggestions? I was sort of looking at the TI-84 Plus. But I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that isn't worth it...

And, btw, sorry I wrote so much! I always do that...
