Which guitar tuner for newbie?

I did a really quick search and a lot of people recomnded Korg but how does it work?

For an acoustic guitar you should buy a clip-on model like the IntelliTouch:

There are other, similar models that work the same way. They use vibration, not sound, which offers two significant advantages: they are more accurate, and they can be used in a noisy environment.

I know it's more expensive but it's totally worth it. Don't throw your money away on a POS like the Korg GA-1 no matter how inexpensive it is. Trust me on this one; you won't regret it.
