which hair color should i use for my character?

i know it's not a big deal but i'm just curious

it's for a mysterious, quiet type of character
i can't decide between black or silver
so which should i choose?
it's a female btw
 
Well, how old is he? An older character will probably have silver hair. A younger character is most unlikely to.
 
I'd go silver, there aren't a lot of characters that have that hair color and I really like it.
 
Silver often symbolises being old, or weird/odd as this isn't common. If this fits the character go for it, but otherwise I'd stick to black.
Maybe she could have a colour streaking black, like purple?
Or maybe silver streaks on black?
 
Black, seems more realistic. Though you could always have it black, but is so much of a black that it seems to shine silver/metallic in the light.
 
quite & mysterious should attract lesser attention, so damper color........... I'd strongly suggest Black hair
