From looking up the history of Christmas apparently it originated as a pagan holiday and somehow got thrown a Christian veneer on it

There is no truth in Christianity, in any case - it is just another branch of the mythology of the ancient Middle East, as your own link makes perfectly clear. The fact you might hold to a different interpretation of this branch of mythology than most mainstream denominations has no relevance to the fact that you all take the myths of the ancient Middle East seriously for no rational reason.

Truth without a doubt and since JW's disregarded the word of God by trying to calculate the 2nd Coming when the Bible states that only the FATHER knows (a truth not hidden but just ignored by JW's), there is more to truth than what the watchtower accepts for the Bible says that it is the inspired Word of God, therefore, why take from it what you believe as the Muslims do and call the rest error and then say that C.T. Russell's teachings are best?
