I work for a cell phone company and the difference is that the iphone gives you acces to internet data files-you can view them in a certain format that is limited compare to the 3g blackberry.
The 3 g blackberry has it's own network and docment system, it gives you acces to edit word documents and view them as a word or exel, ect.
It just depends on what you need the most.
The iphone is for someone who uses internet, music, and games
The blackberry is designed for business and really busy people that need to view and edit documents.
